For those with prior qualifications such as the RYA Basic Sea Survival Certificate, STCW, Elements of Shipboard Safety, or Advanced Sea Survival, this course provides an excellent opportunity to refresh skills and knowledge.

Completing the Safety and Sea Survival e-learning course within five years of obtaining one of these qualifications may also make it possible to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning with Australian Sailing.
