Having an EPIRB and registering it is very important, but so is where you put the EPIRB on your boat. In this video, we walk you through the thought process for choosing a location for your EPIRB.
Where to position your EPIRB...
When Jen and her partner Jon made the leap into boat ownership to begin their liveaboard cruising adventure they had already been taking sailing lessons to learn the basics. They embraced the challenge of setting up their boat to be safe, operational, fun and a comfortable home and decided that rather than learn everything the hard way they would come to us and benefit from training that is focused on helping and supporting boat owners.
"We learned not only what to do...but WHY it should be done that way. I truly appreciate the amount of thought and care behind what the Above and Beyond Boating team does. Thank you for helping us make our boating dream come true! :D "
